Our members have been participating in the Lurong Living Paleo Challenge for the last 6 weeks and there are still two weeks left in the challenge. The work has been hard but the transformations we are witnessing have been amazing.
Because our members love a good challenge, a request was posted in our 2014 Paleo Challenge Facebook group, “Please give me a one or two words that describe your paleo challenge thus far.” The responses were so much fun it only seemed right to share them with all of you.
Today we welcomed guest trainer Theo Boyce III at ChalkMonkey CrossFit to mix things up a bit. There is nothing like working out with the weight of your own body. Theo is great at challenging our members to go further than they thought they could.
CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program with the aim of improving, among other things, cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy. It advocates a perpetually varied mix of aerobic exercise, gymnastics and Olympic weightlifting. CrossFit Inc. describes its strength and conditioning program as “constantly varied functional movements executed at high intensity across broad modal and time domains,” with the stated goal of improving fitness.
Thanks to Theo for amping up our constantly varied!
